My name is Nick Barnowski and I'll be writing here at Nick on Sports. I'm a 17-year-old high school senior pursuing a career as a sports writer, and here you'll find posts about the sports world with an emphasis on hockey and the Detroit Red Wings.
I've previously written for a couple of other sports blogs I've created. I started on AOL, and that blog led me to an appearance on WXYZ-TV in Detroit, and write-ups about the blog in the Detroit News, the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus, and the (now defunct) Ann Arbor News. After that I moved around from blog-to-blog writing about all sports but particularly hockey and baseball.
In addition to this blog, I am the sports editor for my school newspaper, and I've been published in my local paper, the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus.
